Contractions went to 5 minutes apart. Goofy thing is that for insurance to cover the home care "turbo" pump thing the pump has to be controlled by a perinatal doctor. So when the report went in for the frequency of contractions the nurse called the doctor in charge of the pump, which told her to call the primary OB doctor, which told her to call the doctor in charge of the pump.
About this time Kim was ready to yell "IS THERE A DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE". She finally got an answer and they said "Go To ER Now". So we did. In which case the nurse there says "Why did you come here?" (becuase they cannot do cesarian births there) even though we did not have the baby there. (not for another 8-10 weeks hopefully). That was wednesday. They did not get the contractions stopped but did get her somewhat sedated and to where the pain was not quite so rough. Yesterday was a mild day and lots of rest. We played Gin Rummy and watched a movie (The Girl Next Door, an odd murder mystery) Hopefully this weekend will be restful as well. We have several movies in the queue. (Including Clifford the Big Red Dog)
