I am a big fan of Duct Tape, and have been even before Homeland Security recommended it. During a chilly limp around the lake I spotted this basic use.

Thin Ice

It is a bit dark, but the Thin Ice sign has a nice fat gray frame of Duct Tape, whoever made this sign took care to even the borders and carefully wrap the corners so the excess was tucked neatly behind. You may also spot the guys ice fishing there not to far from where Lake Monona is flowing liquid.

Coal Power

I am guessing that the thin ice is caused by the power plant run off that is not too far away from where the lake is not frozen. One thing you cannot see, is that the thin ice fishers have actually aquired an audience. I am not sure about the other onlookers but I had my cell phone ready to dial 911 when they fell in. They did not. At least not on my watch.

one stone skipping.:

There’s a duct-tape club? Now THAT’S creepy! Now you’re going to have to modify you like and say you like “good” duct tape…remember the stuff we bought to post your moving sale fliers? crap-o-la! It must have been a wannabe version.
